Received a letter from your bank?
I have received a letter from the bank but what happens now?
As you are launching a complaint against your bank or lender for mis-selling, it is highly likely that they will contact you with regards to the matter. If this occurs, it is important that you read the information clearly and discuss the details it contains with one of our advisors.
In most instances, no further action will need to be taken. Usually, any contact from your bank will simply be an acknowledgement of the receipt of your complaint or details of their final decision regarding your claim for compensation.
If your claim is rejected by the bank then it is important that you consider the other options available to you. Rejected claims can often be referred to the FOS and we can manage this process for you.
The FOS is an independent body which reviews complaints between individuals and businesses impartially. If we manage your case then all correspondence from the FOS and other bodies will be processed through us. We’ll still update you regularly on the process.
