The time it takes for a claim for mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI)
to be processed can vary depending on the lender or credit card provider who originally
sold the policy.
On average, claims take around 12 weeks; this is from the start of the claim to
the claim being settled and you receiving a PPI refund.
Some cases have been known to take as little as 4-6 weeks.
Your claim may take longer to process if we need to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman
Service (FOS). You will be provided with an estimate of how long your individual
claim is likely to take when your case is first assessed by us.
